really just have to do the cold turkey thing...all about not using any tobacco products for a couple of months and u pretty much get over it...but it is hard
i know a lot of people who quit using e-cigs because you can start with high nicotine vapor and use less nicotine every time until its just water. it seems like youre less likely to have a relapse if you do it slowly rather than cold turkey, but everyone is different.
Your best bet is to avoid friend who smoke and also avoid drinking. When every I quit smoking, I can go a week and be fine, but the second I get a little drunk the cravings get really bad and I cave
this is a hard battle. I never want to smoke unless I've had 4+ drinks. SOMETIMES coffee but rarely.
I vote e-cigs to start, it isn't as gross, and it's not as unhealthy. but try and quit those soon after otherwise you'll end up back on the real shit. honestly after like 2 weeks you will be fine as long as you can control yourself when you drink.
I'm in university and last year I lived on a different continent and I smoked a lot but now that I'm home for the holiday break, I've been smoking a lot less. I find that I have to smoke only once a day tops and then put in a pouch of snuss before I go to bed and I'm fine. Try snuss.
