How often should I replace my helmet?

My helmet for 5-6 years currently has 3 cracks on the inside and 2 dents on the outside shell. My parents say that I can't buy a new one because they think it will still work fine, however I feel like I should buy one.

Should I replace it?

lifetime warranty = they will replace the helmet due to malfunctions in its lifetime, not yours. They are not bound to replace your helmet because of wear and tear such as cracks which occur because of what you do with your helmet.

But really OP, get a new helmet

show them how many people (who know a lot more about skiing than them) in this thread say youre going to get fucked up and theyll probably want to buy you a new one lol

i may be a little more paranoid than necessary but every time i fall and i'm like damn, i think i might be dead without this helmet i replace it. the foam in them is really only good for one good hit (like most people have already pointed out.)

helmet and boots are the two pieces of gear i dont fuck around with. if your shits cracked, get a new one, saving money is not worth a cracked domepiece if you plan on skiin hard
