Gapers Standing on Knuckles of Jumps

It makes me mad how people who can't ski/ snowboard for shit go into the terrain park, don't hit any features, stand on a knuckle of a jump like nothing's gonna happen, gets hit by people like us, and then we get blamed on. Shouldn't resorts make rules about this sort of thing?

standing on the knuckle is fun and completely harmless as long as theyre not hidden blind in the landing. think of something else to blame when you puss out hitting jumps

I don't think 'lanes' is all that appropriate of a metaphor, but I see what you're getting at. I think about it like an asteroid field and you just have to dodge mindless space-rocks while flowing through space

Of course i have, and that's fine. The problem is when they cut across the knuckle or stand near the landing like you see in the video above

It's annoying, we all know :P

But I was skiing the other day in the park and it was only me and a friend who I was filming. So I ski up, do a little 180 and stop right on the top of the kicker (take it note its about 12-15 feet wide) so I can film him from a different angle (I'm not one of those dumb filmers with their imovie and iphone). Of course this snowboarder cuts right before he drops so I'm like whatev, only one guy. He comes up full speed last second cuts right at me, freaks me out and sprays me with a butt load of snow trying to knock me off the back of the kicker to the flat. He obviously saw I was filming and he saw I was only going to be there for about 20 seconds at max... I get what he was doing trying to keep gapers out of the way but it was just annoying since I had to reposition for my friend. /rant

what i dont like is when you stack a jump some one comes over and land on you luckily for me he only landed on my leg.

This isn't exactly the same thing but last season I was at the top of the park and because its a very narrow park we have to yell "drop" to hit the features. So I said it and then I did a shitty 360 that I just washed out on and one of my skis popped out. As I walked up to get the ski, I just see this snowboarder go over the edge and sure enough, managed to land on me with a metal edge in my back and it was sore for 2 months after. I wasn't standing on the knuckle or anything, and this happened in five seconds or less. I think everybody taking turns and making a rule about saying "drop" and having everyone acknowledge that person would make the situation a lot better.

At AV all the gaper kids roll of the jump and onto the knuckle creating a huge rutt. Then when they get to the bottom after falling they stop at the flat because they have "too much speed" thus creating pockets or park bomb holes every where. Catches you off guard every time.
