Gapers Standing on Knuckles of Jumps

It makes me mad how people who can't ski/ snowboard for shit go into the terrain park, don't hit any features, stand on a knuckle of a jump like nothing's gonna happen, gets hit by people like us, and then we get blamed on. Shouldn't resorts make rules about this sort of thing?

Even if they would make a rule to prohibit it gapers would still do it because they're gapers and they don't know better. In that case I will continue to hit them.

Although not cheap, Park Passes w/ RFID & Gates (like many mtns have for lifts) would be ideal. Sticking park crew to act as a bouncer / pass checker is pretty weaksauce.

yeah its like that at whistler, but the park "bouncers" know who actually has a pass so its easy to ski in and not have to stop.

I was skiing crotchet late season last year and a kid three'd a big jump and hit a gaper standing on the knuckle and the gaper got taken away on a stretcher. Its bad for everyone

i get pretty annoyed with gapers in the park in general. Standing on the knuckle is annoying but what really pisses me off is when someone hits a jump so slow that they have to trample around on the lip because they get stuck.

Also, this isn`t that bad but i do get irrated because it happens on a daily basis. I get most of my skiing in on weekday mornings. well theres about 10-15 retired/non-working skiiers at my home hill that are always there at the same time as me. For what ever reason, they feel the need to take lap after lap through the pretty small park, tearing the shit apart of the nice groomed inrun etc. Not that big of a deal, but gets anoying when your the only one in the park and you have to wait for a bunch of tards to finsih their run.

It's worse if someone falls on said jump, but stays on the landing so you can't see them. That's when it really gets dangerous.

Sorry for double post.
At the begining of each park at my mountain you have a list of safety rules and advices.. It's there but who really reads them ? But still, it's common sense. For my experience, the parents are the worse.
They pretend they know how park features works and the safety measures for their kids but they just don't know shit. I know i'll educated my kids to have at minimum of common sense.

I hear you there, the parents are often the worst taking 5 year olds through the park, nothing against small kids skiing the park but the parents often have no idea how the whole system works.

Here's an analogy I thought of. So here's a standard trail on the hill:

Various lanes, slow people can go slow, fast people can pass, etc. On the flipside, here is what the park is like:

Certain "lanes" for certain features. I'm sure you're not too happy on the road when someone is in the far left lane decides to dart across to make a right turn. Same can be said for someone stopping in the middle of the road over a hill / round a curve in a blind/bad spot. It is part of the "skier safety code" "Do not stop where you obstruct the trail or are not visible from above."

That is great that everyone on the hill wants to have fun. Everyone on the road wants to get where they are going in a timely and safe manner. Someone who just blasts across the road in random directions or kid/parent who does the same in the park. Not safe for anyone.
