some pretty solid skiing in there. I remember when I used to ski dry slope now I'm up here in Scotland I can get out a snow a bit more. Still can't wait until I can leave school and be able to ski elsewhere.

the lake district get pretty good snow sometimes, this was raise mountain lift last December. Lots of skiing really good skiing in the North.

and this is more what scottish skiing is, hours travelling, a couple hours hiking just to get 2 turns in.

So many Gapers in the UK, that video had some good tricks but it's almost 2013 and if it isn't at least 720p then don't even bother. The sad truth is even the British skiers who can freestyle can barely link a few turns together when they get on a real mountain.

dont be an asshole. considering they learned how to ski on snowflex, they're actually not doing bad at all. and whos to say how they would handle turns, they're obviously comfortable on their skis if they are throwing that many flip combinations.

I was talking about British skiers in general, I'm sure these guys can ski perfectly fine on snow and would imagine they have probably spent a bit of time on real mountains. I learned to ski on dry ski slopes in the UK as well and it just gets frustrating to see British skiers who can do every combo of change ups but lack some basic skiing techniques.

There is some crazy skiers in Scotland, shit that you would think wouldn't be possible, seems like the best skiers keep to themselves though.

True that.

You kinda get that in the midwest, US but in a different way. It seems like everyone here slays rails but at times completely disregards jumps and even skiing technique in general (I know I'm guilty of it). It bugged me for a while to see these kids who would spend so much time only focusing on one aspect of skiing until I kinda came to the realization that if you're not getting paid to ski, it doesn't really matter, they're just out there having a good time like everyone else is.

Well I'm making plans to head up for the Coe Cup in March so I'm sure I'll find out then. I'm just referring to what I see while in NZ and Canada with many of the brits who come over can just about manage the run to the park.
