yes you should. depending if the professor saw you make any effort to pass, they'll most likely bump it. if the professor recognizes you from going to every lecture they'll probably bump it, but if they have never seen you before cause you never went to class you could be in trouble.

in my experience when i asked my proessor for less than a point they went back and looked at my attendance record and hws i completed..usually if u show effort and go to class they wont fuck u

If it was me I would just assume I was getting bumped. But I guess you might as well be safe. Offer to do something extra and hopefully she'll just say don't worry about it I'll bump you

My teacher bumped me up to an A today is my HS class, I was pretty happy. I only needed to get one more question right on the final for an A so he gave it to me.

You failed. Unless she didn't grade something correctly, or there is a real reason why your grade should be higher, then just accept it. You are asking for charity from an institution of higher learning. If they arbitrarily bumped up grades for no reason, would you really respect them?

Also, failing college math (assuming this is College Math I) is absolutely terrible. Your academic future is in serious doubt.

This thread is about college grades. A's, B's, and C's get college credit, D's, and F's (or E's in my school's case) do not.

I might be a faggit, although I am not sure because I am not familiar with that term....

Does the professor know your name? Did you ever go in for help? Did you miss more than 3 classes? Is this the final grade that was posted?

Sure, it never hurts to try to get your grade bumped but if the answer to any of the above questions is no, it's probably not worth the effort.

Yea dude it's definitely worth asking her.  Show up to her office hours or ask her if she can meet with you. 

Teachers get bothered by students all the time asking for bumps in their grade so its good to own up to it and say like 'I know my average calculates to a 69 but I deserve to pass the class because..."

Tell her about all the work you did.  Tell her you went to every class.  If you did well on the final say that you showed improvement.

Tell her you did really poorly on the test because you were sick or you had a death in the family.

well actualy the way newschoolers works now you have to get a picture off the internet, upload it onto your account and then post the picture into the thread, its a really annoying process which leads people who actually dont give a fuck to not participate in the practice.

you on the other hand did take the time to do that therefore giving a fuck

(and if you respond to this it will double the original fucks you gave so choose your next words wisely)

Did you read my response? I explained what I meant by posting that picture, because, apparently it wasn't obvious enough to you. I was not referring to you getting bad grades, but the fact that you think a 69% is passing (getting credit for) a college course.

Well, college depending on your major or intent in life is very serious. Especially when it comes to failing math class.

To be honest, if your teacher doesn't automatically bump that up, they are a douchebag or you really didn't earn it.
As an engineering student, if you show up to 80% of the classes, and turn in your homework, expect your 87% final grades to magically turn into A-

This happened in 3 classes for me this semester.

Some people just aren't good at math. It took my friend 3 times to pass college algebra, it just wasn't his thing. He was an amazing writer and graduated early with honors. But I agree mostly with the first part.
