so ive had my mac for a few years and the memorys gone i have like 1 gig left and it doesn trun well. all the memory is just all my old photos and videos i dont want anymore. i wanna NUKE my mac and delete everything and make it so its like a new laptop. ill put my apps on my external hard drive but whtas the best way to nuke it and delete everything on i?
Boot from your OSX DVD, and then you can select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu after choosing the language. Using Disk Utility you can erase your hard disk before installing OSX again...
