So, you know how you can plant your tips and kind of butter/nollie 270 on a box or short rail? What would that be like switch? Would you just fall on your considering you never really see anybody even plant or stall on their tails?
Switch butter into rails is such a cheater trick. It can be kind of cool, but most the time it just looks like you're too much of a pussy to go into the rail switch.
i agree if you do a butter 180 early and then just hold the tail press until your ready to hop on, but of you make the whole thing a fluid motion i think it can be pretty cool.
well imo if someone is just doing a butter without any press then I call it a butter, if he's doing it with a huge nose press 'dollo' style then I call it a nose butter or a tail butter if its a tail press which most people just fail like someone said above
good find but i wouldn't really call that a lip nose butter 2 on. you can clearly see at the takeoff that he pops off of his tails, and if it were really a butter he would be pressing into his noses the whole time.
we need a new name for last second reverts onto a rail, because the difference between a real butter on and a revert is pretty significant.
either way that wasn't a butter. he pressures the noses of his skis to revert then pops off of the tails. on a butter you stay pressing into the noses = nose butter or press into the tails = tail butter.
