Lotta snow gonna be dumped on wisconsin over the next few days. their calling it a blizzard and naming it Storm Draco. Hopefully we get dumped on big time. Anyone else jacked for this in wisco??

Yeah, I'm in La Crosse and they said 10-16 inches through tonight and tomorrow! So pumped.. maybe my hill will put up more than 2 rails!

prime time for urban tho! and of course most hills in wisconsin are only around 300 some feet so even if we do get powder we don't know what to do with it :/

I used the 5" we got here in Denver for a quaint little backyard session with my bro. Unfortunately, we were using a new rail that he had discovered laying on his property and the first time I hit it, it broke and went from being a flat rail to a reverse rainbow rail. We then spent the rest of the afternoon trying to do 3's on a 4 foot jump and now I am on NS because I don't want to study for finals.

Dammit beat me to it. We had school cancelled today, before the first flake of snow had fallen. Gonna be a gnar pow day tomorrow. Hopefully the 40 mph winds are going downhill.

I know you ski Whistler so I'll explain. This is Wisconsin. We have 200-400 foot hills... basically a little bigger than a city sledding hill. At my hill, there is only one run steep enough to ski powder and it lasts all of 2 turns. It's fun to ski on fresh snow instead of rails, but a pow day here is nothing like a pow day on a mountain.

this is a trail map of Tyrol Basin. The run steep enough to ski powder is the "double diamond". The other picture below this one shows you how tall the hill is. That view is off the triple chair furthest left in the trail map picture.

Yeah, blizzard warning here in Iowa. Like 8-12 inches predicted, which is quite a bit for the middle of the country. But the blizzard warning is supposed to be more because its supposed to be super high winds thatll blow snow that has already fallen

It's been awhile since we've gotten this much snow in one storm. also note, the average season total snowfall here is 44.1" and we have at least 18" I'd say
