Although I still believe I got the best deal at 500 new for the body and lens...the body price of a new gh2 has dropped to $500 on b an h and amazon. This is a steal for anyone that wants to get a gh2 without the kit lenses!
the gh2 is capable of shooting 1080i at 60 fields per second, as are many cameras. It can also shoot 1080p at 24 and 30 frames per second, and 720p at 60 frames per second.
Rly? Is there a way to get true progressive footage? What about the 720p 60fps mode? What about canon dslrs, they're 1080p 30fps progressive (or 29.976 or w.e), right?
did no one bother to read my post? not trying to be a dick, but this info is relatively easy to find, and I tried to make it as simple as possible and give a full explanation.
not trying to be a dick, bro, but i ignored your post. i know what the camera shoots and what it is capable of, but i also know that people love 60fps and MOST don't understand that if they bought this camera strictly for 1080i, then they are missing the point .
Yeah, I saw the op, I'm not really looking for one, but I would if it was 500$, for the 500 to the uk id get taxed up to 40%. Still a great price though.
of course they are i was just checking if it was just that 60i mode that was interlaced (obv the i is 60interlaced), but I thought that it might shoot that instead of 1080 30p, and call it 1080 30p.
