So first off I'm not sure if this belongs here, or in nsg. But this year I've applied to a couple local mountains for park crew, but haven't gotten a response from the mountain I was counting. So I've turned to a mountain that I grew up skiing at.
The problem is this mountain has been sold multiple times in the past few years, changed hands, had reforms, etc. I've heard its on the market, so I want to try to get a job working in the park there, hopefully breathing some life into it.
The park's are all right, there is a jump line only park on the mountain, and where they used to have tubing, they've converted into a T-Bar accessible jib park of sorts. Right now it's called the Boneyard, but I feel like that is a bogus name, wondering what some original, interesting/alluring names are, also what do you guys look for in a park.
I'm really counting on getting hired there, my mom patrolled there for 5+ years, and I know the owners personally, so I think I will, but like I said, for sentimental reasons I want to give this a go.
Thanks cats
