For the past 4 months my friends and I have been planning a charity ski and snowboard Rail Jam entitled the "7th Street Showdown: Charity Rail Jam" for our local skate park who is being threatened of being shut down due to financial trouble and the original committee not wanting to pay this year's insurance fee. As well as we collected items to donate to our local Humane Society. It was held December 1st and we raised over $900 for to save our skate park in Indiana, PA about an hour away from 7 Springs for those who are familiar with Pennsylvania!
We filmed this documentary with Panthera House Productions over the past 3-4 months to show people the work we all put into this and what it really takes to put on a competition of this nature. For those who are familiar, there is not exactly a manual telling you how go about shutting down streets for ski competitions, we're hoping this really shows how much heart and hard work we invested into making this really happen. We're really hoping to show how much This documentary is currently untitled but we are hoping for it's completion by spring and to have the whole doc online to view for free.
