Fat Twin for Park

i really dig fat boards..if i had the money for MSP's i'd get those..but what do you all think i should get? im thinking either the moships or pocket rockets,whoever has these tell me what you think.

no one has mentions the Line promodels yet. The pollard, skogen and nick are all quite wide (86mm) and are built for destroying the park...seems like a good idea to me

they are a 86mm waist all mt. jib ski. they only come in 166 or 186, they are true twin tips meaning equal tip and tail heigh. Lines site has them rated as, as stiff as the mothership ti's and really an all mt. ski. just harder in the bumps due to being stiff. but its also made for the park too so its a dope all around ski.

only problem with the mothership flites is that their bases are extruded instead of sintered, so you pretty much get what you pay for.

exturded are softer but easyer to repair but this is the frist time have heard that they were extruded.... so i would ask a line rep or the comp first.

ok. to anyone who reccomended msps. i would have to dissagree. i LOVE 4fnrt, but the misp's geometry is not ideal for park. shure, they kill it, but thier are better fat skis for specific park riding. the msp is rather pintailed, while most jib skis are more symetrical. this pintail allows them to be rediculously stable at high speeds, and still very turny. however, turn them around, and you get a ski that wants to wash out when carving switch (just like driving a car backwards) now, that being said, the line mo ships are very sick, and not particularly heavy. the flites are lighter, but they have a shit base, and that is seriously a big downfall. the seth pistols are a proven park ski. they are also very soft. the mo ships are rock solid. if you want a wide, soft ski from line, the mike nicks are definatly the way to go. i ended up with STLs, cause they are an way better ski for less money (not the exact width you are looking at, but an amazing ski, i would look at them if i were you). Scratch BCs are a great choice as well. whatever you chose, you should be happy. just make shure to find something with the proper flex profile for what you like. and oh eah, STAY AWAY FROM POCKET ROCKETS! i have seen and heard so many horror stories about them breaking and bending.

the MSP is not much more expensive than the Pollard, prolly like $60 more.
Call online ski shops and what not and see if they have last years stock of 4frnt, and get those, they'll be onsale cause there a different color. Try that.

^ dude the whole volkl freeride team uses them as there jib ski. The karma is the teams park ski.

just go with the volkl sanouks........ they will be plennty wide for you! I bet that 110mm underfoot will be sweet on rails! they could make landing switch a little tricky but im sure you can work it out!

just for all the retards on this site I was jokeing ^^ seriosly get a park ski if you will be skiing park. Why would you get a wide powder ski for rails and park? unless you are challenged in the balancing area you should be fine with a 80 or so underfoot.

Id say pocket rockets fo sure they are super light and good for all conditions. Go witha 175 or 185 what ever you do just don't go short
