just visted it now. it seems like a cool idea to see what other parks are looking like before you visit them. I might try to update my home mountains park to what it actually is.

I added a bit of info on the site when the competition was running for the gopro but when i realised i wasnt gonna win i gave up. Plus i dont know if anyone was ever reading the stuff i added which also contributed to me to stop posting

I find its good but incredibly inaccurate, would be killer to have opening dates for the parks, I ski in europe so they are sometimes not open for a while.

That was my park in 2012, it is correct but we change usually around end Mars, that wasn't updated.

it would be good if mountains and park crews got on board with it, and provided the information so its always up to date.

also maybe its just me, but i normally know what the set up will be like, or have an idea of what to expect. i dont really care too much about specifics. if parks have a few good sized jumps and a good rail set up, im fine, which most parks will during the height of the season.

this would be really helpful, especially in places like colorado, early and late season, where the parks can be hit or miss, so that you know which one looks the best at the time

Hey guys!

Troels from MySnowparks here. This is really great feedback. We pretty much agree with all of it.

We're at a point where we have a really strong idea and concept that everyone seems to love. We also have a functional site to make this idea work. However, we are still lacking critical mass to really see this take off. No one wants to find inaccurate information and old photos. That was actually exactly what we wanted to fight when we first launched.

We must admit that trying to cover all parks in the world at once is 'almost' impossible. Narrowing down the focus and starting out with one country/state/area at a time could be a solution.

I really think a deep integration with the great community of park people here at Newschoolers would be awesome for everyone. I'm just waiting for Mr. Bishop to make the call ;-)

If anyone has a great idea to how we reach a point where the information is kept up to date let us know! We have a couple of ideas ourselves, but would love your feedback.
