Hello i'm going to buy new skis for this season because my domains broke last year. For this season im wondering to buy the atomic punx 2013 with the atomic ffg 16 team binding. I could get all this for the price of ~479€ and now im wondering will the size 173 fit me? I'm 175cm and my weight is about 84kg
Thankful for answers!

173 would be a really good size for you

You are about 5cm shorter than me and about the same weight. Go with the 182cm. It's a center mounted, super light ski.

Okay, but are the skis and bindings durable and how do they hold up?

ive heard nothing but good things about punx. and the ffg is just a rebranded sth, which is a good binding

Okay so the FFG 16 team is the same as the STH 16 driver?

I started to wonder, am I really in need of the 16din binding? or will the sth 14 driver be fine for me? i ride almost only park, I thought the 16 din binding would be good for me because im a little heavy but i dont know if i really in need of it. Which one should i pick?

^go with the 14, if you have any reservations about the 16din binder, you probably shouldn't be riding it. The din starts at 9 which is a very high starting din, and you want to ride in the heart of the din range, so it is highly likely that the 14 will be more appropriate.

but how is it with the marker jester 2013 binding with the din of 6-16? is it any better than FFG/STH? or worse?

That's def an option, although I prefer the sth/ffg driver binding, but the jester would probably work. I just don't think a 16 din is necessary.

okay but do you think that the sth 14 driver will work with the 100mm brake? because that's the only one that's in stock

So you mean that the brakes won't be in the way? like popping out on the side of the ski?

I dont think so. If sth brakes are anything like the ones on my griffons, they move inwards a bit when your boot is in the binding. you should be fine

if it is a problem, you can buy replacement brakes in different sizes.
