Banshee Bungee

Probably a repost but I was wondering which bungee to get, the 10' length or the 20' length. I will be using it for my home jib setup that has a 14' down rail and a couple of other features that need a lot of speed to hit (backyard has a really shallow slope but lots of trees to anchor the bungee.)

This is fucking retarded. Don't get a banshee bungee for your backyard. Don't post threads about banshee bungees in ski gabber. Or anywhere else for that matter as there are a lot of them already. Use the search bar.

It does for individual search terms, and I don't think there are many threads with the word "banshee" in the title that are not related to banshee bungee.

dont get a bungee for your backyard though, its alot of work.

never, ever , ever, buy the 10.

if someone here says its good, they've honestly never tried to hit a sizeable rail with it.

always get the 20.

if you're really set on buying a bungee then get the 20ft. but like someone said above me they are A LOT of work. and to get a decent launch it takes 3 or 4 people to pull back.

i'd recommend building a drop in or piling up a bunch of snow. a drop in will be cheaper, less work and you could sesh it by your self if you want.

the ten is fine if your just hitting down rails, but for anything else go 20. a bungee is a bit impractical for a backyard setup because it takes 2-3 people and a lot of muscle to stretch, but they deliver good speed.

looks fun. but trust me, the bungee is not the way to go. it amay be necessary for some urban stuff, but they are a pain the in ass. build a drop out of something. pile up some snow, pick up some pallets from walmart, be creative. trust me, anything is better than pullin a bungee back every drop.

I already have a drop-in made from a 6' high scaffold but it cant quite give me enough speed to hit the down rail.

don't buy a bungee just for that, just pile up a bunch of snow from around your yard. If you think you might also do some urban etc. then look into a bungee. Banshee bungee sent me a 10ft for free back when they first started up. Got a few small rips in the first day of using it, BB sent me another 10ft for free. I hardly ever use it, but 10ft isn't that bad but 20ft is better. I tie of my ripped 10ft then attach the second 10ft. I can pull it back far enough by myself to hit my backyard rails.

By the looks of your setup building a decent drop in would work much better than a bungee.

I don't understand how the fuck Banshee can justify their pricing. They're just exploiting a market that they've obviously secured for themselves through patent. Sorry, slightly off topic.

It may be the photos deceiving me but I think you could probably get up enough speed by packing down the in run and skating into it. That combined with a 3-4 foot drop in made of snow would probably be enough.

Wow, find that surprising. It seems to me like youre doing something wrong son haha

Try putting the rail at a steeper angle, that will definitely help you out. If that doesn't work, get higher!
