So, like many skiers, I'm a dirtbag. I want to spend a month in BC the cheapest as possible.
I'm exploring the idea of living in a hollowed out snow bank, has it been done? I'm sure it has, more specifically, has anyone on here done it? (please share)
I don't want to use a winter tent to draw attention to myself.
I'm pretty good at building snow forts, I've even slept in them a couple of nights.
I was thinking of bringing two -30 sleeping bags, so one can be in my truck drying out for a few days while I sleep in the other for a few nights. Rent a hostel when I really need a shower.
I have a wisperlite universal camp stove I'd use for cooking and pre bed time heating (will include proper ventilation in ceiling, see above note to good fort building skills)
