Heat mold the liners. Shops usually have little cup things they can put over a problem area and it'll mold around them, leaving you room. It should be free if not less than $20 to do.
Im going to guess you have no footbeds in the boot. Your foot is probably unsuported meaning it pronates which is causing your inner ankle to bang on the inside of the cuff.
A footbed can help align and support your foot to stop this happening.
Yeah I've had this happen, and I'd have to agree with previous statements. A bed will prevent (in retard terms) your ankle from falling inwards towards the other foot. When that happens, it's usually subtle and isn't enough to notice while standing around, but after skiing all day you'll definitely notice, but it'll feel as if it's just hitting te side of your boot because it's tight. Don't try to mess with the canting on your boot though. That seems like it will help but it'll only mess up your knees and your skiing
