Ok, you guys are awesome! thanks a bunch for the help and criticism! +K to the world!

DaBears I had many of the same problems you did with it...I wasn't content with it but I couldn't quite figure out why, thats why I asked for help...

So here is the question: I have this edit below that I made earlier in the summer, same stuff before we stepped up our game, however, unlike the other one I wasn't trying to stress out and make a highlight reel, i honestly like it better, is it? Why? any and all help is very welcome!

Thanks, its too bad, that was a days worth of shots, the other one was almost a month of shooting a few days a week, It just had no flow an story though...more like a string of bangers...in the later one, I was having a hard time saying we climbed way up that cliff/hill on the other side without screwing the whole thing up...did it work?

I agree with some previous comments. Unless you're really making the footage look like your own and it seems authentic, I'd avoid the old film style in the beginning. Too run of the mill. I wasn't crazy about the song, but I find that to be the hardest part about editing. I'm always looking for music. Overall though it had good vibes, transitions from clip to clip was a little choppy but everyone's editing improves with time!

Thanks a lot, The song thing is terrible...I have the hardest time finding music, did you also think the second video I posted was better?
