Me and my buddies did it a few years before turning 21...it's a good trip only if youre undeage in the states..my suggestion would be to get on a boston->montreal "party" bus for cheap. There are a million package options that will usually combine round trip bus ticket + hotel (fit a fuck ton of ppl in there and divide the cost) plus an incentive to go to a few clubs/bars on st. catherine street

Once you get there just drink your face off and wander in an out of titty bars and various clubs on the verge of black out

montreal is a good time..i was there last year at a place called the imperial room or imperial club.on st catherine street.it was like 70$ all you can drink all night..a lil crowded and hard to get the bar but it was a good time

That's pretty far from Massachusetts. Either Montreal or Toronto are his best options.

I found toronto to be a lot more fun than montreal. Me and my friends had some great times in mtl, but toronto overall killed it. (I speak French, I am French, so that wasn't the problem.)

Overall favorite canadian city is Quebec City though. No idea about new years there though.
