paypal/ebay question

did it just never come in the mail? i hate how someone could just lie and say they never got something in the mail, that's why i always try to get tracking #'s for stuff i sell on ebay.

how did he access your money or how cant you? that shouldnt happen. a refund is decided only by the sellar. if you said no refunds in the action, you dont have to. i dont think you have to anyways. he'll probably post negative feedback or something, but you can counter it. thats stupid though that you cant get your money.

It totally depends on how you described the product in your original auction. One time when I sold a subwoofer to someone, I explained in detail what was the matter with it and that it is being sold as is. The dumbass then tried telling me that he wanted a refund because there were scratches on it and whatnot. I told him that I clearly explained what he was purchasing when he bid. Now if you sent this dude a pieace of shit on purpose, then he deserves a refund. But if you trully believe that he does not deserve a refund then you can call up the customer service line at Paypal and explain the situation, they are really helpful. Hope this helps!

credit cards and paypal normally always side with the buyer - which makes it tough on you, as the seller.

However, I would take issue with paypal, not necessarily the guy, and demand an explanation why they won't release the funds to you.

Typically they don't freeze funds just because the buyer says he's trying to return a product...I'd bitch at paypal first...and if/when they say it's because the buyer has filed a complaint, you can deal with that issue.

As for the refund, it's no different then any transaction, you have to decide your return policy...if he's nitpicking, don't allow it, but you are risking a neg. on ebay.

i always say in my ebay ads that the item is AS IS with no returns or refunds.this way there is no confusion. but i also never sell anything with shitty quality so it has never been a problem.
