Talking really fast over music isn't rapping. You need to EMPHASIZE the words that land on the beats, especially 2 and 4. The beat itself didn't really lend to that though, so he should probably work on that first.
his name is d-celli. had a few classes with him in high school, was actually an incredible slam poet who used to perform in my creative writing class all the time, did pretty well in brave new voices.
some parts of the video can be kinda goony, but i actually think he is pretty good.
he does have a good voice, but he's too monotone. duh. same thing as saying a skier has good tricks but needs to clean up his style or has awesome style but needs to up his tricks
i really dont like rap but this is fucking good, reminds me of gang star. and its cool hes talking about his god, not ghetto gang shit. i really like, hope he gets bigger.
He seems like he's the type of kid that's mad awkward and doesn't say anything at school but goes home and has a cool, respectable talent. Except here his awkwardness bleeds into his rapping.
Definitely not, don't understand why him/other youtube rappers say freestyle when it clearly isn't unless there is a definition of freestyle that I don't know about. Nonetheless, he has talent and I enjoyed this track alot.
Check this one out, Mike Kalombo chose it as one of the best ones entered in the cypher.
