Shots with my gh3?

What do you guys think of these two shots I got the other night with my gh3? Shot with a rokkor 500mm 1.7, shot at 1.7




I just got it, and am beyond stoked, especially about the unlimited recording time!

what settings were you using? The second shot really seemed like recognizable, in that it looked similar to what I can get on my gh2 with the hack, after youtube of course. focus actually seemed to be pretty good.

Audio is off in a few places and sometimes it sounds like a robot orgy. Otherwise fairly enjoyable.

Its the lowest number f stop you can go. For example, the tamron 17-50 is wide open at f/2.8. People say dont shoot wide open because your image is very soft, and stuff tends to be out of focus pretty easy.

I meant the lowest physical number, as in f2.8 vs f22

f2.8 is a mathematically higher number than f22. It's confusing to refer to "stopping down" as raising the number, and vice versa.

Mathmatically in camera talk, yes. I meant literally the lower number, to put it in terms of someone who didnt understand it. But i see what your saying.
