This would go against their contract with NBC. Having it air on TV gets way more advertising money than streaming it online, once companies are willing to pay as much for advertising online as they are for advertising on TV you might have a shot at it. Everyone's main argument is that Xgames does it...but Xgames airs on ESPN and ABC (both Disney companies), so if ESPN wants to air it online, they certainly can, they don't have a contract with themselves. Dew Tour is partnered with NBC, but not the same company, so if NBC says "no, we don't want it airing online in it's entire form" Dew Tour has to go along with that or they wont get paid and will lose their TV slot (it's not like ESPN is going to air their biggest competitor). I know people will say "well, how about putting it up after it airs? It's not like they're going to air it again", and that's kinda the point, NBC wants to get the most viewers they can, if people know it will online for them to watch whenever they want, ratings will go down (remember, DVR recordings are tied directly to ratings as well, so if people record it on DVR NBC wont care).
