I had recently bought the k2 domains and ive only tried them out a few times this season at JIminy peak. just wondering how they are off jumps and rails and shit
Next time put this in gear talk. Anyway, I switched from afterbangs to domains this year because I wanted a buttery ski that didnt feel dead like the abang. Any way, if had 4 days on them and love them. The flex is really nice. They are easy to butter and the zero camber under foot makes them really nice on surface swaps and shuffles. The biggest jump I have hit with them so far was 25-30 feet, so I can't speak for how they will perform on bigger stuff. However, they hold up way better on jumps than my abangs. The abangs always felt kind of sketch on landings because of how soft they were. The domains have a solid feel on landings and I havn't had to worry about buttering out when I shouldn't. In the end I would say they are a great all-around park ski. If My spelling sucks its because I'm on mobile.
Sick, favorite primary park ski especially for rails, so easy to butter, swap and shuffle. still solid under foot though, and skiing switch is very easy. Only complaint is they get boring on groomers since they lack the snap of camber, however you can pop ollies and nollies really well with the rocker.
As far as sidecut yes (115/90/115) . I would imagine that k2 would have symmetrical flex as well but I haven't manage to get my hands on the domains yet.
