GoPro camera tethers

is it worth it to spend $20 on the camera tether pack which comes with 5 tethers? like i mainly do park, and shred the occasional glade so should is it worth buying the tethers.

and if people didnt know the tethers are a sticky mount you put to the surface your mounting your gopro on and it has a leash that attachs to your gopro so if you eat shit and the gopro clips of the mount then it will still be on you dangling from the leash.

I've lost a gopro and know many others that have as well. I took a shoelace and tied it from the gopro to the side straps of my helmet.

I use a boa cable...I boat, so yeah the leash has saved my gp a lot. Would I pay for a leash.. never
