I can't find any of his runs of late but i'm curious to know what his run at Copper was. Can he do a double flair? Double Cork? Or is it 9's, 10's, and flat spins down the pipe?

I think that the most interesting thing to watch about Tanner in this run up to the Olympics will be his strategy towards competing.
Real competitors know when to turn on the full-bore wowie sauce, and when to just squeak through qualifiers. Not only does it keep one safe from injury, it can get into your opponents heads - making them risk injury to win or underestimate what to expect in the 'big show'.
One time at a Dew tour I found myself sharing far too many cocktails (few years back) with Tanner and he started telling me all about his strategy of contests leading up to X-games. Each contest on the road was another step in the master plan.
Was totally blown away that he thought at this level TBH.
Tanner doesn't need to win anything right now. Just needs to qualify.
Of course, that plays fantastic into the argument that he's simply washed up and incapable of winning. Sure makes for an exciting story to watch TBH. ;)

I want to see him win this weekend, or at least podium.
