It looks like once you're in air you look down with your head which throws you off axis. Make sure you keep your head level.

your rotation looks good and you look balanced through the air, just gotta widen your stance at the end and stomp the shit out of your landing. it kinda looks like your scared to land so you just flop over.

i didnt look at your video but your body will follow wherever your head goes. so practice just by jumping on the ground, crouch/ wind up a little with your arms( not so much that you throw yourself off balance), jump/ spin and look hard in the direction you are most comfortable spinning.  on snow it may also to widen your stance as you approach the jump.

It looks like you are trying to spin around your left shoulder. On the take-off, try to stay centered and don't lean left. Other than that, it seems good: You are spotting your landing and getting the right rotation. Just keep practicing. It seems like you were getting better as the clip progressed. Good luck!

Keep your legs tucked for longer so you dont keep landing on one ski. Set a wider stance, carve more and look over your shoulder. Problem solved.

Be patient on your takeoff. Pop straight up. DO NOT LOOK DOWN. that looks like your biggest problem. Put your hands forward. And stomp.

work on just standard jumping and landing on angle with the jump first, you land kindof off axis and back seat, so you want to focus more staying level throughout the entire rotation

That jump is pretty big to be trying your first 360 on. But just commit your shoulders, and look over the shoulder of the direction you are trying to spin. Also spot the shit out of your landing, which is pretty easy on a 360. I actually landed a 540 before a 360, because I just hucked it and span way too fast.

i wish vail had more open :( then we could all be throwing 360s, yea what they said, head leveled, its like the steering wheel to your body, body follows where the head leads.

It looks like you have the rotation, but your balance just isn't any good. do a bunch of 360s at home without any gear on or on a tramp, that will help big time. Also, be confident that you'll get it around and be stronger on your landing, you just kinda flopped over... If you kept your hands forward and tried to stomp more you would have it

its been said but keep your head level.  also try and toss a little safety in there; may feel odd at first but after a while it will feel natural and also help with your balance issue

Keep your head up. Looking down is scarier and won't help you with your rotation. Look over the your shoulder when you're spining because most of the time, your body will follow your eyes. Also bend your knees up a bit more...it keeps you more balanced in the air and it'll keep your landing not so backseat. Hope this helps!!

you're not too far off, just gotta keep your head level, try to get your knees a little bit closer together in the air for better style and less flailing, also prepare yourself for landing. Tense your legs a little so you can control your skis as soon as they hit the ground. Good luck.

3s are a normal easy trick for me. I can do them easy but why do people say not to look down? I've really never had this problem?

combined with the lip, it corks you out. if you keep your weight centered and can compensate it doesn't really matter but typically your body goes where your head does and if your head is tilted down, you're going to go off axis

If you try to lean forward and do a boot grab it will help you to stay level and not land on your back like that.

Don't look at ur tips when u spin. Keep it head up and chest out. And ur over rotating a little that's why u landing like a flamingo. Bend them knees and swag out of it(do some squats to get them legs stronger, looks like the give out easy lol)

In my opinion, you start your spin just fine, but you stall out your shoulders at 180 and then you let your feet lead the spin. Lead it with your head and shoulders all the way around. You'll get it; you are real close.

I think you have a bad habit here, try and pop nicely and precisely according to the trick you're throwing.
3rd attempt, you lad left before right. That kind of shit NEVER, strictly NEVER happens if you pack your self, grab, and strengten you body a little while in the air.

man dont try and over complicate the trick. 3 is so easy just look the direction your spinning and then @ 270 look down and spot your landing in front of you, you looked back for the landing and i think it made you land back seat. also GO FASTER!! its always going to be hard riding away if you land knuckle. keep it up you got it already!!

Your weight is too far back on the lip of the jump. Arms forward and put pressure on the tongues of your boots.

Pop more forward off the jump too, if you notice right away your body is inline with the take off instead of flat, pop forward to match the slope of the landing.

Don't let your head look down, keep your head straight and try to do chin to shoulder.. might help. Also try to stay balanced in the air, u seem to be leaning back, but i think if ur head stays straight, it wont throw you off axis as much.
While watching, i was thinking that maybe carving might help.. but i think all thatll do is throw you off axis even more. Only reason i was thinking it is because in some of the 360's you were lifting a foot or doing weird things with your feet.. but try to stay balanced and head straight and then maybe try carving a tiny bit. try different things and youl find the trick that works for you best

Alright so I just watched it for a second time and it looks like your skis are leading the spin. Make sure your head is leading the spin. With your skis leading they will contiunue to spin when your comes around the whole way.

" Just try it on a small jump. You can probably 270 just on the ground. Just hit a small roll in the trail and throw as hard as you can, should be able to start poppin 3 off nothing. You have those 2 edges to grip, set up like you would spin on a trampoline, just grip and rip that shit. Switch 3s will take a little more time but start small and work up. Even if your park doesn't build small jumps(which most do) start on cut ups, rollers, build a jump in your yard or local sledding hill etc.


Most peoples biggest problem with 3's is the jump. They try and jump the 360. You want to bend your knees and really just throw the spin. If you jump upward and bring your arms up in that motion you just won't be able to get the spin. And even if you somehow manage to get a 3 around like that, 5's 7's etc are out of the question. You can almost bend your knees in a little bit like you're going to wedge. Wind that shit up and just fucking whip them. Go straight side to side though. Don't throw your arms up in the air at all, stay even height in the pre wind and the follow through.


As your arms get to the front let them almost pull your head with them. Just like the arms keep your head level. Once your arms and head are turned all the way, hold them there. Keep your head level and looking for the landing.

From there to progress to 5's just keep your head turned. The hardest thing about going from 3's to 5s is keeping your head turned, don't peel it off to look at the landing from 270, if you're eyes focus on that you'll stop your spin. Once you get 5s, everythig after that is pretty much just going bigger. "

I have a few things that I noticed to add to some of the things mentioned above. You are a bit back seat on your take offs, getting a bit more forward on the take off will help you stay forward through the spin to your landing. You should take off in an athletic position with your knees slightly bent and you should be pressing your shins into you boot slightly. It kinda looks like your on your heals on some not all of the shots.

The second point is that you should try to get your hand up and forward on the landing. Your hands are kinda in your pockets/by your ass. Bringing them up and forward will get you forward and help stop the spin. I hope that helps.

Spin a little slower, keep your head straight (level) and lean forward a lil. Youre landing in the backseat pretty bad. That's why you keep washing out. Good luck!
