I had to switch to different music on Henrik's part but other than that it was unreal. That huge up flat down B-dog hit was crazy.

i can not begin to explain how happy it would make me if people started using metal in more edits. on a related note is henriks part skipping for anybody else? i dont know why the beginning was fine but once it got to henrik it got all fucky.

anyway... henrik is the best park skier ever. this and his part in education of style alone prove that. holy fucking shit. god bless you B&E. they could shoot the whole thing on Hi8 and edit it to autotuned fran drescher sound clips and i'd still watch the shit out of it

also all you guys bitching about the music should grow the fuck up. Metal was perfect with Henriks part, went so well with the editing and the vibe of it. I didn't like it in the beginning, but it was awesome.


Stop crying about how it wasn't Hip Hop or fucking dubstep, that was brilliant.

That was my favourite edit so far this year and if I am honest my favourite B&E for quite a while now. For a bit, at least IMO, it was getting a little repetitive, but holy hell did they bring it this time!

B-dog throwing doubles and finding more tranny than a sex-tourist in bangkok, HH just annihilating everything in his path, it really showed that these two are at the top of their game at the moment and that this year they have such a good chance of dominating.

And as everyone else has commented on it - A lot of music in edits annoys me. I like a good mix of things in my music and I want the same from my skiing. Continuous hip-hop and rap gets boring (maybe thats why I started getting a bit jaded with B&E) and I thought the metal tune fitted incredibly well with that part.

I really have no right to comment on editing, I couldn't film a kid's birthday party, but I was so blown away by the skiing that I didn't really notice and having watched it again it really doesn't bother me that much.

Sparknotes: Banging edit, B&E killing it, Can't wait to see what the year holds, Music and Editing are what they are - the skiing was still fucking awesome.

Phils part blew my fucking mind Henrick is just crazy not a fan of his song or the stupid effects but I thought it was damn good for the most part. Those two always deliver.

Henrik's part actually felt like an old school segment. I never realized that all that was missing from all those editing effects was actually some old shitty metal.

I generally can't stand these, but I was happy I watched this one.

I don't understand why everyone complains about their lack of variety. From the edits I saw from last year, both guys were throwing their fair shares of underflips, cork 3's, and tweaked safeties.
You've had to seen Goepper's "Another day in paradise", he does just as good of job switching up the grabs as anyone in the game. And for Bobby, he may not have the insane style of Phil or Henrik, but when it comes down to his edits, you never see grab mute more than a couple times between all the tails and japans.

That's not what I meant. And I'm just as big a fan of Bobby and Goepper as I am of Henrik and Phil.

I was more saying that Henrik and Phil basically made the mute "uncool" when it's one of the classic garbs and super fun to wrench on --see Chug at JOSS.

i personally don't give a fuck what grab someone's doing unless it becomes obvious that they're only doing mutes and safeties. i think people blow the whole 'they only do mutes' thing way out of proportion
