So I'm hoping to buy a Panasonic HC-V500K from Newegg and I have a macbook. If I'm recording at the highest quality, will I be able to import my videos to mac/Imovie '09? Thanks

I've got a Panasonic Lumix that shoots full HD video. Works perfectly fine with my Macbook and iMovie. Just make sure when you get it you change the settings on the camera so it's shooting .MOV instead of whatever the factory setting is. Found that out that hard way

Minor threadjack - I was about to make a thread on this but I'll put it in here instead: If I were to get a Sony HDR-CX110 would that be importable on a mac/imovie at the highest quality? If not what are some camcorders for less than $250 that would?
