I had blanks and liked them, surface is dope. Just got new skis so I don't ride them anymore but I will probably use them for my urban skis now.

What is the best device/method for measuring mounting points? I am wondering how I should go about making sure I have the most accuracy possible.

Man we are just hoping for a bunch of snow everywhere. We have some cool trips planned and developing a few new skis for next season and wanna ski as much soft snow as humanly possible.

yes but those are the 172s, i think those would be short for someone who is six feet tall, especially with the rocker :(

Ah, I just re-read your post sorry... Stay tuned as the snow starts to fall. Perhaps we will sell a demo pair or something. We didn't produce very many of them for this coming winter unfortunately but I am looking at a pair right now and they are pretty dope.

First and foremost, we gotta say how hyped we are on Forster Meeks. We first met this kid years back when he would come out to Utah for ski vacation with his family. This kid was stoked beyond measure... and nice... which is rare... and not a spoiled self-entitled little shit, which is also rare among young park skiers. You get the point. Forster is good people. One thing Forster does well is support himself, works his ass off all summer and fall so he can ski all winter. Young skiers take note, thats how its done. Don't come knocking on the doors of ski brands (especially Surface) to make your life gravy cause it ain't gonna happen. What you do with your life and ski 'career' is entirely up to you. But one bit of advice is, WORK, GET A JOB, EMPLOYMENT! With that being said, here is a cool little tutorial by Meeks himself on how to get by in Govy in the summer months of shred.

couple questions about this years skis..
the one life is now flat underfoot, mine from last year have camber, i never cared for dual camber anyway, always liked flat underfoot with rocker much more. but im just wondering what the reasoning you guys had is? and what difference it makes in how it skis. i love my one lifes, but always noticed a kinda akward catchy feeling when you try to edge them a certain way, is that fixed with the flat underfoot?

and the lab 001's.. i skiied a friends new lifes for a run, really liked them, and im considering the lab's cause im looking for something 100% powder oriented. whats the difference in stiffness like? i know its only .5 difference on the little scale thing, but is it a pretty noticeable difference between the two when flexing/skiing them?

On the recommended mounts for the One Time is the contemporary mount dead center?

Oh and by the way, my 189 OTs say 179 on the top sheet. I don't really care, but just thought it was funny.

Well shit.... no doubt it would be fun to shred the LAB001 in the park but you'd definitely see some damage to that convex 'deep dish' base.. it just depends on how willing you are to mess up such an expensive powder ski. Like we said, it would be fun to ski them in the park... speaking of LAB001's in the park....

We are packing up the car for a trip up to Oregon.. with pit stops in Hood and Bend....We will be in Bend this coming Saturday the 19th at the Crows Feet Commons for the Into the Mind premier and supporting the folks at Central Oregon Avalanche Association by selling Surface and Joystick goods and donating portion of the proceeds to the COAA - we will be there all day so swing over and check in. COAA is also raffling off a pair of our Live Free's during the Sherpa's premier.... who's in the area? Holla Holla!

i i've skied one day on my double times, its a crack in the top layer right next to the binding, could this potentially be bad or can I just superglue it and it will be ok ? Thanks guys

I just got some MFDs for crazy cheap to go on my New LIfes with fks 140s. It'll be sexy once its mounted.

Mr. Schneider - my five year old is going to be shredding with me this season, and last year he was on rentals all year. I think hey were 90cm or something. What have you put your own kids on when they were just starting out and how soon did you put them on the kids surface joints?

Stoke levels are high in our house this season. My oldest (7) is finally able to ditch the rental stuff and gets to ski on a pair of Minor Threat 115cm (center mounted to make them feel even smaller) - the younger two are stuck on the rentals for one more season.

I bet she will be skiing these 115 Minor Threats for two seasons though.

Hey guys,

Stoked as hell on the Est. Hoodie, but less than stoked on $24.52 shipping to Canada. Is there any way around this, or am I just SOL up here? I looked around briefly for retailers but couldn't find any. Do you know if any shops in Montreal carry it?

Regardless, keep up the good work.. Maybe I'll just have to shell out a bit extra to rep that hoodie.
