Is this wierd? facebook/ cool story bro content

Okay so this is going to be a "cool story" just so you know.


So in facebook chat today, 3 people (that I don't talk to ever) just decided to facebook chat me. The conversation went with them saying something, me saying something back and then died. Then a couple minutes later I'd be like Hmm this is weird, and send them a "how's life treating you" or something like that and the conversation would kind of move on at a crawl pace for like 2 more exchanges then die.


Why did these people randomly hit me up? I never facebook chat anybody, generally will get something going from a friend like every other day just friends asking whats good, making plans, or sending me stupid shit.

The one person I think we've talked maybe 5 times since last spring, the other was in a band I used to see a bunch but didn't talk too much outside of that and haven't seen or talked to since the first weekend in june(and he left the band since), and the last I only met once that I can recall working at a festival for 3/4 days for this band in nj back in 2010.

Also this other kid that will hit me up once every 6 months, weird creepy gaper kid from a mountain I used to ride, I just ignored him but it could have been part of the same thing.


Is that weird?


Just was like this is really weird, in the first convo, then I was like this is really really weird in the second, then the 3rd I was like WTF is going on.

Why I always leave facebook chat turned off. I hate having awkward conversations with people that I haven't talked to in forever. I don't know why they decide to rekindle things after not talking to them in forever. I keep an ongoing thing going with a few friends that I actually care about in the "messages" and I can reply whenever I want and vise versa.

But they came out of nowhere, just to say one thing and disappear. Like if I hadn't said the y tu part of the convo it probably would have died in all cases. I sort of prolonged the life of the convo by trying to figure out what the fuck was going on.


I just got that weird vibe like somebody was about to tell me something ridiculous, then it happened 2 more times. Then the weird creepy gaper kid too. So like 3 and a half.


Idk. It's just so fucking strange


The one kid seriously don't think I've ever had a chat convo with. I worked with him at that festival. Added him and some other people from there on facebook and occasionally commented or liked some of his promotional posts for bands but even that didn't happen much and not for a long time.

That's what I almost thought. They had that super awkward kind of vibe.


Also have had that feeling about weird random convos before and been right. Like one of my canadian friends that I've only seen a few times, friend of a tour friend basically. Had that feeling from a couple random short facebook convos. Nothing was said that hinted that, but I just had a feeling for no reason at all. Went to a show in buff and they all came down from toronto to rage.

At some point in the night partying at the hotel after we hugged because of something and he kissed me on the cheek and told me I was cute. ( I was like "wtf just happened" in my head)


So idk. That's happened other times too but that was a recent one like 2 weeks ago.

Maybe facebook told them to send me a message or soemthing so they did.

Trend is broken. Before she had seen this thread and possibly before I hit post a girl from on here sent me a chat message. And the conversation has been going fine and isn't super weird or creepy.


She doesn't have a dick though, maybe that's the reason for the conbo break?

Still though, 3 random people all within like an hour. And I rarely get chat's sent on there. Usually somebody will hit me up to send me a link to something or see if im going to this show or something, good friends.

The 2 are connected kind of loosely not really but sort of because the one was the bass player in a band that played at the festival that I met the other at. The 3rd is from nh and listens to country so I can't get any connections really for that.


Maybe it's a sign that the world is going to implode in 2 weeks.

Shit that's it! I should call the news, I've seen the signs. 2012 is real. I'm like a prophet or something.
