I wanted to hear people thoughts on people who are veterinarians and eat meat.

Personally I think it's a little odd to proclaim to love and care about animals and then eat them when you could live without it. (Even if it is less healthy, which I don't believe it is, there are lots of things people do that aren't the best for them so I think it's irrelevant)

If the vets are in it for reasons other than caring about animals such as money, well good for them, I just think the other scenario is a moral conflict.

doctors help people for the person's sake as well as for money
veterenarians help animals for the same of the person who owns the animal as well as money./

vets dont just roam the woods looking for animals to save, they do it for the people who own the animals

They send their Emergency Medicine residents to do a week of shifts at a Vet ICU. anyway..."Typically one or more of the rounding team members will have a cannula inserted because they are getting ceftriaxone for their infected cat (less commonly dog) bite.
