Replying to Marker Heel pieces failing torque test?
I work in a shop and one thing i've noticed over the years is that maker's heel pieces have been wearing out very quickly. for example, I was testing the binding today with a torque wrench and we were at an 8 din and we did the release check and they were grossly under the in use range. We ended up have to jack it up to nine and half to get to finally be in range. Anyone else seeing this happen with marker bindings? I've seen this happen more and more recently with newer bindings and the ones we tested today were just last year's griffons.
