What's the snow like in Chamonix??

Hey guys! I'm headed to Chamonix for a week over christmas. I'm wondering what the powder is like/snow fall? Would it be wise to bring my pow skis along? What's the powder like? Light and fluff like utah/colorado or heavy like PWN?
