Plugins you should buy/pirate

If any of you still pay attention to the shit I post in here, I just felt the need to express what plugins I've run into in the past couple of months that I think are fucking awesome. anyone who is still interested in improving their quality of the music they create should consider buying or pirating these plugs! (if you can find a way to pirate them).

The first is LFO Tool by XFER. LFO Tool basically allows you to shape any sound you want the way you want it to and runs two filters making it fucking incredible. its only 25$ (i think, it may have gone up to 50$ now) and is so versatile it's not even funny. You can get bass wobble sounds as well as shape eighth note plugs the way you want them to.

The second is Dada Life Sausage Fattner. This shit is fucking awesome for bass sounds that need more firepower behind them. only 20something $$

The third is bitspeek by Sonic Charge. wanna make any vocal file sound vocoded as fuck and robotically awesome? this plugin will do that for you. The most notorious use of this plugin is in Kill the Noise's "Kill the Noise Pt. I" 29$ i believe

Also, WAVES bundle is really sick for anything mix related.

There is also a really great metering plugin called FreeG by Sonalksis which allows you to see the RMS levels as well as your db on any track. they have one for mono and stereo and they are both free on their website.


Any plugins you guys have run into that you think everybody should know about?

All of Duda's plugins are great, LFOtool has been part of my toolbox since literally the day it came out.
He also designed Massive's dimension expander, thats another really handy one you can get on the Xfer website for free.

Aside from Logic and Maschine's stock plugins I don't use too much.

I found this today and figure it was too good to keep to myself....

Alex I know you like analog emulations hehe, I'd definitely check this out if I were you.
The setup is kind of confusing but I'm trying to get it to work right now, I'll report back when (if...) I get the full package installed.

Sorry for turning this into a kind of general VST thread haha, better than complete inactivity though I guess!

It was only a waste of time because i spent an hour installing them and got like 50 error messages when i was opening logic lol, none of them worked for me in the end.

Did it work for you? I have some other programs running via wine and I think that caused the problem. Going to try again tomorrow when I get home.

Unfortunately Logic blows at handling MIDI from VSTs, maybe I'll learn enough about Live to use this particular device.
Its almost cheating though. ALMOST.

Cheating or not though, if ANYONE finds a way to get this, you are required to share.

Usually when I look for this stuff its on torrent sites...
Such as http://kat.ph/ .....
I might search for "xfer" and then the plugin might show up on the first page.
If you catch my drift.

I think I'm going to buy this synth:
I've heard fantastic things about it, supposedly the closest thing to an analog synth that you can put on your computer. The Arturia stuff is good but it can't touch Diva. Apparently a lot of people have difficulty running the synth because it uses so much CPU power. There's actually a few different modes for sound quality, including a "Divine" mode, which is risky to even use because the analog modelling can be so demanding on your computer. Just reading the reviews and listening to some demos has got me really interested, I've been aching for a new soft synth recently, and this seems like the logical choice.

So I bought Komplete... Absolutely awesome software package, there is literally everything you could possibly need aside from a sequencer included.

One of my favorite pieces of software so far has to be Razor, such an incredible synthesizer. If you've got some money to spend and you want a new synth I'd highly recommend it.
