HELP with distortion title

hey guys, i really wana make a cool distortion title for my new video, but this shit is complex.

I made a graphic in photoshop that i like, and i wana create a cool, distortion/motion effect to it. would love some help and any ides.

VIDEO TUTORIALS prefered.

distortion/motion effect is pretty broad. could you be more specific in what you want?

sorry, im on After Effects CS6.

i want like a film reel title effect, some what like EHeath does but not to similar or somthing like this title

Make your own, its way better when you can be original. Adapt to other peoples styles, but dont copy them.

i appriciate your guys advice, helps alot. im just tired of my old animation so i wanted to figure out somthing new. and i've always been a fan of the way Eheath does his videos same with Zach Moxley's titles. not looking to pose anyones thing, just looking for some help on ideas
