Hey NS members reading this post, i don't know about you guys, but I personally liked the Jiberish hoodies/crew necks when the company was starting out. I noticed that people would spend outrageous $ for an aristocrat now. It seemed like people liked it when the hoodies actually had a pattern (instead of now) where all the hoodies have sayings on them. Or at least i like the mojave, aristocrat, MFG, Hatchman, etc. compared to (now) Brothers Blade, Bowery Billies,
or +k for your opinions

I understand and somewhat agree with what OP and a few others are saying, although if you wore a huge Aristocrat hoodie around town, people would think that there might be a couple of screws loose. I just appreciate a clean looking, color contrasting, nice fitting hoody to wear around town.

definitely agree with op, but I think that jiberish is going towards streetwear instead of ''skiing wear''. I would buy their stuff outside of skiing if it wasnt 80$ for a fucking hoodie but now with the new stuff I wouldnt wear their stuff while skiing because I can basically find some lookalike hoodie for half the price.... and back then I was willing to buy their hoodies for a high price because it was hard to find sick and large stuff. too bad it's getting like that

I feel its not just jiberish that's gone to shit its pretty much everyone. Hardly anybody sells clothing on acctual design anymore its all branding and small bits of irrelevant vinyl/screen printing. I dont mind some of it but it seems everybody has jumped on the same bandwagon. I would rather somebody would ask who made the item of clothing as they like the design rather than it just be oh hes wearing x's brand of clothing, because their name is plastered on the chest. Im not saying anybody owes me shit, it makes sense to make what sells, but im not buying it. Also this is hardly ski gabber.

imo older stuff and the newer stuff both look good (for the most part) but the older stuff is unique and youre gonna see no one else wearing something like it. the new stuff also looks decent but youll see plenty of other swag supreme hipsters wearing similar clothing. older stuff is light years better for skiing in doe, sizing and design wise

Sorry. The old stuff is fucking ugly. I would much rather wear greys, blacks, etc, then a hoodie that looks like someone just took random fabrics/patterns and sewed them together.

If jiberish made a new line of the 07 styles that are crazy and awesome and plain gear like now that be dope we get best of both worlds. Like I wanna wear a normal jiberish hoodie for school that's not crazy but have a new crazy dope one for skiing. That be prime. Also of they went to the OG sizing where a xl is now a 3xl

Agreed, new stuff is so lame. Didn't even pay attention to Jiberish this year. Everything is so similar and bland, I can buy that for much cheaper.

Take the Electric Autumn for example, that was a really simple design but it was so sick.

If your going to spend 80 on a crew you think you would want to wear it as street wear too not just for one use.(the mountain). I love where they are going stuff u rant afraid to wear in public because u look like a fruit cake. The style is changing so to make money they are going to change. Just a fact. I loved the old jiberish stacked and am glad they are bringing that style back. Quit bitching there are still "man on man" companies that make fruit cake clothing

First of all, I'm not going to walk around New York City wearing a 3XL hoodie, that would be retarded. So either way if your going to wear a hoodie that is 3XL in pubic, your going to stand out.... Might as well stand out in public, with a fruit cake hoodie

They changed up their style from strictly ski wear to more urban street wear. Does it ruin them for me? Yes. Do i understand why they did it? of course, they're making bank now. 3 boutique shops across the country? They couldn't do that with the type of apparel they were putting out before.

I could name 10 other companies that do the same exact thing.

And if Jiberish kept it the way it was, you guys would complain that they need to change. Can't please everybody but its pretty obvious that the brand is still very successful. I like they direction they are headed and you can only give a shit ton of credit to Pete and the guys for making Jiberish huge compared to what it used to be.

before they made these sick designs that no one else was making but not there just making plain shit that many other companies are
the only difference between there shit and other companies is that there are different sayings but its still the normal plain colored hoodie that u can get in many other places

They definitely bring one or two "old" feeling pieces in the new drops, but its sad it isnt the majority of the drop. The Tangled, and zoom crew are two great examples from the last 2 years
