Such a disappointment. I don't know how you guys can agree with that podium at all. Henrik should of won first with a land slide. I don't give a fuck how many more rotations Gus and Kai did, both of those tricks were thrown at x-games years ago they just added a different grab. But as far as I know Henrik is the only person in the world who can do that trick, therefore it can be without a doubt one of the most technical trick to date in our sport right now. Combine that with perfect and stomped landings it should of been on top of the podium. With Gus in second and Kai in 3rd.

big ups to all the athletes for throwing down. gus kenworthy coming out and for the first time ever "hucking really hard", since TJ schiller 2 years ago did exactly the same trick. tom wallisch and jossi wells doing a double cork 1080 eight times in a row. that was killer to watch. kai malher or whatever for doing the same trick he did in every competition he has been in for the last year. and henrik, start hucking you fucking goon. you have to wait until you leave the lip to start hucking if you want to get anywhere near 1620.

Henrik would have had a much better chance of winning if he had used a different strategy. If he had waited to pull the nose butter dubs until the finals, I bet he could have gotten at least second if not first if he had changed it up a little. The judges obviously got bored of him throwing the same trick six times in a row. In my opinion, Gus should have won, his dub 16 was so clean.

Hmmm let's see.... Dub cork 12 blunt, Dub bio 10/12, bio 14 blunt, switch dub 10... Could have just kept it to butter dub 10 too

    Switch double misty 14 with a double japan and stomped landing.. Would be rally tough to judge but yeah I would say Gus deserved the win just a tad more

    Before everyone goes on a future spin rant on gus and kai, you must realize that the tricks gus and kai did were not really future spins. To the person dissing on Gus' trick being the same as TJ's, when Gus did do a trick similar to TJ's he was not rewarded really at all. He got like a high 70 or so. He did the dub 16 but let go of the grab for like the last 540 or so for "temporary tornado". When he got a shitty score he probably realized that style was what was killing him so then to my disbelief he did a dub 16 that was literally grabbed on the tip of the tail until his feet perfectly stomped on the ground. Really a spectacle to see something that technical with that style. Kai threw a double grab into the sw dub misty 14 which is just a grab that seems to counteract the spin so much. That would have been really hard to judge. I think the judges did a pretty good job, elias did a really pretty hucked dub 14 that got pretty much dismissed. I do think style was taken into account in judging and to the guy who said that "henrik is the only person in the world who can do the butter dub", you are right. But I also think you would be hard pressed to find anyone who could do a dub 16 like that or a double japan double misty 14 (I would not even know where to start with that kind of rotation with that grab) I honestly think I may have judged Henrik the highest, but I think you can't talk shit about the judges cuz its not like Nick Goeppers sw dub 14 at snow basin is what took the cake tonight

    Wow, the filming of this was really unimpressive I thought. Same angle everytime from the deck of the jump. And then one of the alternate angles looking up past the knoll making the jump look 30 feet big. Dew Tour got all this cash, set up all this scaffolding and lights and shit, get another cameraman at a good elevated angle looking straight on the jump from downhill and use it or do a followcam every now and then. Cancel 2 stops of the tour how about cover the only one of the year better.Goofus.

    I didnt mind the filming at all. They had an angle up top dropping in, one of them actually hitting it, on the deck of the jump, and one shooting from the base. A follow cam would have been nice, but i thought they did a good job for the most part
