I'm not home so I can't hear how horrible the announcing is, but I really don't understand why LVV doesn't cover everything skiing. The combo of him and the other official announcer for super pipe was pretty tight.

WTF are these scores? EVERY SINGLE score has been by 4ths, .25, .5, etc and the last two scores were .13 and .63?

ughh at the announcing.


I really like this course though. Those last 3 or 4 runs were all that I saw but just from that I dig it. I like how many options there are for each set of jibs. I know they need there 4 jumps these days but they have a nice blend of sick jib settups and big booters.


I felt like that was lacking at first when everything moved to 4 jumps, everything seemed to be focused just on making sure they could throw a bunch of doubles and jibs were on the back burner. This course has flow, functionality, but still has that creative aspect.

I dig it. Hopefully with more runs I'll see some people hitting some of the other features.

There wasn't a video feed. They're showing it on NBC sports at 11. I bet a lot of people are pissed.

Unfortunately snowboarding doesn't have the same unified online presence that skiing to get their opinion out that that fucking sucks.

I also wouldn't be surprised if Alexis tore something in his knee. He was so pissed/sad/saying angry sounding things in French when they took him off in the sled. Feel bad for the guy for sure.

Anyone else see McMorris's triple in big air? I have no idea how he is able to throw a triple on a jump thats only 65 feet. Super impressive. Hate all you want but hes just trying to get paid.

It's actually not as surprising as you might think. Snowboarders are a lot better at popping. There's a reason snowboard production companies rarely team up with ski production companies for shoots. Each wants a different lip to make the same jump.

Reading everyone's post regarding the judging and the announcers has me laughing. That bad eh!?!

I really felt sad to see Alexi go down. He was so distraught. Bet he tore a ACL. Also, Teej didn't compete due to a concussion suffered during practice. Bummed for him. And what the heck did Schlopy do?

it was super stomped and grabbed, i approve. oh and it's a lofty jump with a steep landing, not like those long step downs that X usually does, so everyone takes it like halfway down. you'll notice how both skiers and snowboarders don't have a ton of impact even though they're taking it pretty deep...it shows the difference properly built jumps can make.

Just google "NBC sports streaming" and you'll fine some live stream links... I watched the snowboard pipe final yesterday on one of the first link... When I'll be home with the other pc I'll post the link here

Ok I finally understand! ahah... It's simple: the men's finals will start in one hour (they postpone the start) and it will one the live stream (alli sports site); the snowboard final will be just on television.. but it's easily find a live stream on google

freeski slope finals are actually not delayed and will start in 1 hour and 38 mins :)

And both with stream on Alli , and if it doesnt work try restarting your browser, I had to do that a few times.
