Your thoughts on sandbox helmets?

thinking about picking up the classic or low rider and putting a penguins winter classic (favorite team) die cut on it like its a hat. i really like the look of these helmets just wanted to hear some comments before i buy.

keep the penguins suck comments to yourself.
we all have our flaws, you dont need to showcase yours.

wearing a hat under the helmet would look basically identical, stop worrying about your looks and focus on your skills first.

um, correct me if I'm wrong but i asked about the functionality of a helmet i liked and so far all i have gotten from you guys is advice on looks?

im not training for the olympics so my skills can get better as they please im just asking if this helmet is comfortable, functional, can wear a hat and goggles under it etc.

guy, i live in new hampshire. the shops around me dont carry them and only carry racing shit. i dont live in utah. i saw the helmet online and im thinking about getting it. i just wanted to hear what people have to say about them functionality wise. not get in an e fight with some stupid kid in utah i dont even know.

its not the best helmet by any means (get a poc if you are really concerned about safety) but it'll protect your dome a hell of a lot more than a beanie. i think they look dumb but whatever floats your boat
