Mouth Guards Skiing?

idk if this counts as gear talk.

But who wears a guard skiing? i got 2 concussions last year and idk if i should start wearing one? any thoughts would be much appreciated!

My dads a dentist so every year I get a completely molded mouthguard. It won't leave my teeth unless i physically take it out with my hands, and I can talk perfectly. Instead of spending $20 at a store for a bulky one that you can't mold (heating under hot water then biting down isn't molding), go to your local dentist and have him/her mold you one.

I wear one mostly when I think I don't need one. I know it sounds weird, but it really changes your risk perception when you're charging, and it's when you're just dickin around that you get that surprise knee to the chin.

Not really conviced it actually does anything for concussions, but definately worth it for not having to go through dental surgery (speaking from experience)

had this happen the other night and it REALLY rattled my cage. Making me considering a guard but meeeh who knows.

Yeah I got one form my orthodontist that fits around braces, and when I'm done with treatment, he's gonna make me a super nice molded one.
I wear mine when there's a possibility that I'm gonna be dropping some cliffs, and when jumping. I was wearing it some of the time last year, then sent a cork 5 to flat and took a knee to the chin. Not tight.

i used to play rep hockey so i have a fancy molded one, i think ill definetly start wearing one cause i got a knee to the chin last year to. And i just remembered thats why i brought it up.
