Giving homeless guys on the street money.

theres this dude who is always at on-ramp that i use. We have stop lights alternate setup on our on-ramps. Hes got this little tiny black dog and it was wearing a little yellow raincoat this time. Picture how cute that dog is. I gave him some dog dog treats beause it was raining and the dog looked miserable.

Now sense i dont care about the homeless guy ive got this sweet idea. Im gonna give him a bunch of money from the carribean my brother gave me. I think it sounds pretty funny and in good holiday spirit.

Better yet, print off some counterfeit money so when he goes to spend it he gets arrested.
In the end he will probably thank you, because you got him sent to a place with a roof over his head, food everyday, and a chance to get a GED or some education for free.

I'll give homeless people food/coffee every once in a while, but not money. As genuine as they may seem, I still don't trust them.

I gave a homeless guy a canadian 5.00, and he wouldn't take it. There was a bank that exchanges money like a block away-- i tried to explain but he was just lazy.

I never give bums money, usually try to not even look at them, but if I do, its in disgust or to look down on with friends. The bums around my campus are fuckin terrible people, they own apartments that are paid for and receive a ton benefits yet still beg and mug people.

If they come up to me begging and asking for money, I won't give them shit...

But if they're just sitting there minding their business with a sign or something, I'll always throw in my spare change or a dollar or two. I'm fortunate enough to have a job and a roof over my head along with college. I can afford to give them something.

I know someone who pretends to be a bum on the streets, he makes roughly 40 Euro an hour, and now in December that figure shoots up massively.

People must be generous of there. Over here the homeless have got to make less than minimum wage- everyone avoids eye contact, especially in Bellevue.

My grandpa offered a homeless dude in DT Toronto a job. It was a construction job, My Gpa is a general contractor.
The guy asked how much it payed.
answered $12/hr
The guy laughed and said "no thanks, i make more than that sitting here asking for money."

fuck that shit. the only reason i used to give into beggars was emotion. not anymore.

Its honestly not that hard to find a job and get a roof over your head. Most beggars had a choice in life and chose the wrong path. No sympathy toward them unless they have a dog like in your case ..... i would probably give in and throw them a toonie or something.

One thing I will never give a homeless man is clothes. When my dad was working at his first big firm in Detroit when I was a kid, he passed the same homeless guy every single day on the way to and from work. One day in the middle of winter, he stopped and gave the guy a wool coat, mittens, and a hat that he bought. The next day he drove to work and the guy was wearing the same shitty clothes he had on the day before. My dad pulled his car off the side of the road and called him out to which he responded, "I wasn't cold, I was thirsty. I sold that shit." True story. Fuck that guy.

We gave a homeless man a  few beers and a cigarette once.. He was insanely happy and overly grateful. Way overly grateful..

This reminds me of when I was really drunk at a cowgirls, Inc. (don't judge! I was young and the bar was new), and they have those giant tubs of shelled peanuts all over. I kept taking giant handfuls and putting them in my jacket pocket, then going outside past the bouncers and giving them to all of the homeless. I did it about 5 or 6 times before the bouncers caught on and I got kicked out.

This coming from the guy who did the most disgusting thing ever. I was driving in th car with him and he saw a homeless guy with a sign about a block away. we were in traffic so he grabs a cup and starts masturbating into it. The cup nowfull with cum after 3 min (Dont know how he did it that fast), was handed to the hobo and he sped away. Youre seriously a fucking liar

I used to give whatever change I had when I was in Calgary, unless I had a loonie, I'd keep that shit. In Victoria there's way too many homeless people and I never have change anymore.

One time I passed this homeless guy who said "arr", I quickly replied hey, but kept walking. Then I realized this guy has an eye patch and just said arr to me. Had I had any change and didn't give it to him before I would've walked back and given it all to him.

One time this guy came up to me, said "can I have a smoke before I say something mean" I said I didn't have any then he said "have a nice day faggot" and walked away. I was half angry half laughing.

      I cant walk twenty feet in my hometown anymore without some bum asking me for change. They're all strug out of herion too. Its always been a huge problem in my town.

       Theres this one kid still in his teens whos been going around for about a month now saying he is stranded, asking people for bus money back to his  "College in Ithica'.

       He always dresses nicely too so people actually have given the kid like 50 bucks for a bus ticket. And then he spends it on heroin to shoot up, he has so many track marks that I dont think he will be around for much longer.
