What Are Your Premier Pro Render Settings?

Ever since I switched from PC (Sony Vegas) to Mac (Premier Pro), I've been having troubles getting good renders whenever rendering from Premier. Just wanted to hear what you guys use for your render settings.

i honestly just use the vimeo HD preset. I used to tweak it a bit, but then i realized there was no difference. Main difference was audio, which I didn't notice a difference in, so why fix what isn't broken?


Note: Obviously turn your bit rate up a bit, should've mentioned that

Like the other guy who posted above I just use the Vimeo preset, it is identical to what Vimeo recommends

I do youtube preset (same thing as vimeo, but 8mbps vs 5mbps)

Presets for youtube & vimeo are good enough !
But in the end it depends where you want your video to go, assuming it's on the web, web presets are just fine.

So 8mbs as a target and bit rate should be good enough? Or shouldni bump that sucker all the way up to 20?

i do 5mbps. h264 is very compressed/low bit rate codec going higher than like 8mbps is worthless.
