I fucking hate waiting for packages. Seriously.

I've been sitting home waiting for my skis to arrive all day today so I can take them to my local shop and get them mounted so I can ride them tomorrow.

What do you fucking hate?

I can relate, i keep checking and refreshing the tracking info every 15 minutes because i have some climbing shoes arriving today. The worst part is for some reason the mail doesn't come til like 4:30 some days, lazy fucking postmen.

Yeah I did that with my laptop. I figured the less time it spent in transit the less chances it had of getting lost/damaged/stolen.

i do this when i am buying stuff in country, but often theres no point when it has to go through customs. ive paid the extra before and its ended up taking longer to get through customs than the express shipping i paid for

You know what I hate even more than waiting for packages? Waiting for drug dealers. Seriously. Don't tell me you'll be there in a few minutes if you're 30 fucking minutes a way. I don't give a shit if you're running late, but have the fucking decency to tell me so I don't waste my god damn time waiting on you. Fuck.

when i ordered my jiberish lenape earlier this year, i was expecting it to be shipped like a month after i ordered it because i thought it was a pre order thing, but i got it like a 9 days after i ordered it. Its so awesome when you forget about packages and they surprise you

I couldn't fucking wait for my laptop to arrive-- then I came home to a "sorry we missed you" fedex label-- have to sign for it. So I drove to fedex, they tell me "it has to have been a failed delivery 3 different times before you can come and pick it up." But they refused to deliver after 4:00pm for whatever reason, so I had to come home three days in a row to "sorry we missed you" notices, even though they already knew I wouldn't be home before I was allowed to go pick it up. This is when I lost all faith in human beings.

Haha yep. I was the shop tech at my local shop for a few years and left on good terms. I go in and use their shop from time to time when I have something that needs done that I can't accomplish at home.

I love ordering a bunch of shit, forgetting how much shit I ordered, then having it all come a week later. Especially if I have already gotten another paycheck after I spent my money. It's like Christmas, only I bought the stuff for myself.

I love waiting for packages. The anticipation gives me something to look forward to all day, every day until it comes. Then the day it's supposed to come, I'm anxious all day. And if it comes a day early I jizz my pants when I find it on my doorstep. All of this implying it's a fun package that I really want.
