Full Tilt Boots + Competition

Head has been stepping up their boot game. while Ross and Solomon are still putting out great boots. I know Full Tilt is arguably the most popular for free style boots, who agrees/disagrees?
I have some older solomon SPKs, and I'm thinking about upgrading. I wear about a size 11.5/12 so I'm not too worried about FTs being too wide.

fullt tilts are great but only if they fit you properly! if you fit well into spk's you wont fit FT's well its all different to every person

Definitely go to a boot-fitter if you're thinking about upgrading. They'll recommend you a boot based on your foot and What you'll be doing/your ability level.

That said, Atomic's recent release of the Overload definitely caught my attention. Full Tilt makes a great boot though and although the technology is old, its basic design is simplistically top-notch.

Yeah at this point I think it is time I finally get fitted for new boots. I was particularly curious about the Full Tilt debate. Seems like they're the top brand for park skiing (probably from sponsoring SM and TW+), but I also hear plenty of complaints about their boots being too wide, cheaply made, and outdated technology. etc.

Their marketing department must be top-notch if their product sucks haha

be smart about this. dont get your info from a bunch of troll's on ns. go to a local shop wirth a good boot fitter and they will be able to point you in the right direction.

with that being said, im a huge fan of my nordica dead money's. check their park and pipe line out

I do have full tilts, they fit super necly, keep me warm dry & painfree... and stressfree, if you fit into them and can afford them, I can definately recommend them, even though there are some heavy haters around here atm haha... just buy whatever fits your boot the best

Well OP I'm afraid you are not gonna get a straight answer, everybody will just tell you to go to a bootfitter.  If, like me, you don't have a boot fitter nearby just go to shops and try on different boots.  I have a pair of Nordica Double Six boots and I love them, I wanted a flexy boot because I always screw up my shins in the rock hard cuffs of rental boots..  I looked around at different boots and found that 3 piece boots suited me better and are more comfortable.  
Go try different boots on, and try not to be blinded by brands - This is incredibly difficult to avoid...
