Vail Resorts buys Mt. Brighton

Here are two articles explaining the expansion. Could this mean Mt. Brighton wont be such a shit hole anymore? Its chump change for vail resorts, but hopefully they do something with it.

Thoughts?

There have been talks of this for the last couple years...crazy it finally came together. Obviously the lifts, lodge and ski opps need some work, which Vail should be able to address with pocket change. I'm just hoping they follow through on improving the terrain parks!

Yeah, I mean I want them to improve their park just as much as anyone else would, but the real reason they bought it was so that they can get at the local Michigan market, which would lead to them selling more epic passes

My friend that works the park there said that in the next 5 years they will put more money towards the terrain park than cannonsburg has.... Could be epic. Or it could be a bunch of hype, either way i will be getting a pass there next season so i can go out west.
