Premiere pro CS6 help

when I import my shots the audio doesn't come along with it but when I watch them in media player the audio is there. the format is .mts by the way. also google didn't do much but show me more people asking the same question

ooo. alright. to what format do u suggest and any suggestions on conversion programs?

i use 5DtoRGB batch, which costs 50 bucks. You can use mpeg streamclip as well which is free. Are you using mac or PC? If mac then convert to apple prores 422(lt)
