BIG SKY, where to stay?

check out some the housing close to the employee housing area. i forgot what they were called but there was 7 of us and it ended up costing us 15 dollars a night

i think you can take the free bus from bucks t-4, but its like 15-20 minutes from the ski hill. You can check on the Skyline bus website (http://www.skylinebus.com/). The places the other guy is talking about are the cedar creeks or hill condos, which are pretty affordable, at least for a season rental. They would be nice place to stay cause you can walk to Big Sky and Moonlight is a five minute bus ride too. You can also walk to a bunch of bars from there. Hope that helps

theres a bus that goes to big sky from bozeman so you could stay in bozeman and its about an hour drive to big sky.

The bus is the way to go. Look up the White Water Inn, its the cheapest thing I can think of, and the bus goes there too. You might be able to find a vacation rental from a person but I have no idea what that might cost vs. the Whitewater.

try the huntly. its pretty pricey but you can pack the people in and its slope side so well worth it. they have a sweet pool hot tub zone and close to some fun bars if thats what your into. I know how hard it is paying for housing. I am currently dirt bagging in bozeman but during events we get a crew together and splurge #yolo.

You can grab a free bus ride to the mountain from Bucks T-4, itll take like they said 15-20 min. X2 on the Whitewater Inn, both are cheaper than on mountain and both have pools, hot tubs, and a free bus ride up the mountain. Buck T-4's has a dank ass free breakfast every morning though

yes, its a hot breakfast. Pancakes, Bacon, etc etc...Where as Whitewater Inn only has Cereal and Coffee

You really have two options. Both will probably be similar priced.

1. stay at the huntley. It'll cost 100-200 (maybe more for a bigger room? these are completely guesses but I dont think a standard room is more than 200 unless its peak times). You'll be slope side, close to bars, close to restaurants, etc. Only thing is getting from the airport to big sky, but thats like a one time shuttle fee, not too bad.

2. stay in bozeman at a dirt cheap hotel and rent a car (are you 25? if not, this will be more expensive). bozeman has tons of night life/restaurants etc and then you could ski bridger and big sky because you have transport.

Overall, i think #2 would be better. Skiing at big sky every day would be fun, but it'd get expensive. Bridger has amazing skiing and its like $50 bucks for a day ticket ($40 if you can pull out an old college id). Only thing is you'll probably fill you gas tank a few times, overall i think theyre both gonna be the same overall cost but two completely different trips. Also, for either option, ski a day at Moonlight, smaller but real fun and cheaper.

Try to stay in moonlight, it's way more fun. Park and powder, as far as lodging idk, sleep in the lodge.
