I just purchased a set for damn cheep, looking for some input on them. I ski 60 park 40 mountain. intermediate to advanced skill level. all reviews available are made by k2 and i have a hard time believeing half the shit a company claims about the product.

if you dont believe in the product youre on then how can you ever expect to progress as a rider? your product plays a pivotal role in how well you do. anyways, the recoil is actually a pretty bad ass ski and there are a lot of people on that and the iron maiden, which is the same ski. for your skill level and all mountain style, they will work great for you.

Were was this stated? im asking for information about the recoil that is non bias(only reviews avail. are made by k2) How can i not believe in somthing i have never tried? I am not doubting the quality of the skis, if that was the case i would have never bought them. I was meerley looking for some input on the skis from actual consumers that arent getting paid to say how great they are. thanks anyway.

just going off what i see buddy. you dont seem happy with your purchase. you should be stoked on new product. i ride the iron maidens, which like i said are pretty much the same ski. they are a great all mountain twin. they have good edge hold, stable, and poppy for when youre cruising park laps. they have a decent waist underfoot that make the ski pretty versatile. only difference with this years maidens is they have urethane sidewalls under foot so they take a little better beating and impact in the park/urban features. you have a great ski so get out and enjoy it!

I rocked the Iron Maidens @ Windells and loved them. I just scooped up the Recoils for a Christmas gift for my buddy. They are pretty solid all-rounders and well made.

this years recoils and iron maidens are exactly the same ski, just different graphics.

i got the iron maidens a few weeks ago, yet to use them though

rode the recoils last year, and ill be riding the maidens this year, . They are an amazing park ski that performs also really well all around the mountain! you can beat the shit out of them and they will holdup really good!
